Watching the snow fall,
confetti flakes sticking
to the side of my truck.
Such peculiar weather.
It makes me wonder
if I make it snow.
Our moods swing over
and you know that tomorrow
the sun could shine.
The light has a way
to help me see you
when I'm not looking
I've been so focused,
but with the curtains open
the day is apparent.
It seems to me
that we're not dreaming
anymore, or perhaps I am.
It was so cold yesterday
and the fog made it
so very hard to see far.
Your hand feels so warm,
I love having it to hold,
especially now, when it seems so cold.
Watching the snow fall,
much more heavily now
is all I want with you.
