thrum thrum

I leave my focus outside of my mind
to stare

This heart dreamt up by others
is weak

To see the syncopated world is freedom
from all

No solitary beats are kept so discretely
inside

Slick streaks spark while that smile turns
turns corners

So carefully caring you listen inward
eyes bright

You hear it as well, thrumming
soundless unto us
we hear
