an innocence to your kiss
unlike that evening
you spoke so freely
something you couldn't say
until now
alone without color we see
inside when we hear
tears take us home
care comes to us
holding on
in your eyes I've never been
here you are in my arms
lost in parts of each other
some of another day
it is time
we dream so carefully free
our hearts patient
to wake so cautiously
here so close inside
we are taken
